Why Did We Launch Plan Your Vote SA?

Plan Your Vote SA was originally created as a nonpartisan voting resource to help Bexar County residents access what they needed to vote safely during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, it has grown into a year-round resource dedicated to making voting easier and more accessible for everyone in our community.

With so much on the ballot — from city council and school board races to bond proposals and primary runoffs — we believe voters deserve a single, trustworthy place to find nonpartisan facts, understand what they’re voting on, and learn how to get involved.

How to Use This Site

Voting is one of the most important things you can do as a citizen — but it’s not always easy to figure out what’s on the ballot, when and where to vote, or what the issues really mean. That’s where we come in.

Whether you’re voting for the first time or you’ve voted in every election, this site is built to help you vote with confidence. We update it regularly, so check back often for the latest information.
